Le Krakatau est un volcan situé dans le détroit des îles de la Sonde. En fait, il s'agit de "l'enfant du Krakatau" ou Anak Krakatau en indonésien puisque ce nouveau volcan s'est édifié sur les ruines du Krakatau qui a explosé en 1883 faisant près de 36000 victimes.
